BOPP THERMAL FILMS
- THERMAL FILMS Laminates through application of heat to one or both sides of the print, making it tear and water proof. It has the following feature:
- No adhesive is required for Lamination, Laminates,
- when pressed through heated nip rolls, Good Paper tear on de lamination,
- Excellent clarity in clear films, Chemical Resistant, Print Lamination and paper / Board,
- Good Results ion folding, creasing, embossing, guttering. etc,
- Available in different thickness for both Gloss and Matt Lamination.
Primary Types & Finishes
- Gloss Films: These high-clarity films enhance color vibrancy and saturation, giving book covers, cartons, and brochures a polished, reflective aesthetic.
- Matte Films: Preferred for a sophisticated, non-reflective finish, matte films eliminate glare while maintaining underlying color consistency. Note that ultra-thin variants (18–22 microns) are usually not recommended for complex folding or creasing applications.
- Specialty / Texture Films: Options such as Feather Feel / Velvet provide a premium tactile surface, while Anti-Scuff films offer advanced resistance against abrasive handling.
- Metallized & Pearlised Films: Metallized versions are frequently layered onto expanded polystyrene (EPS) sheets for building and rooftop thermal insulation. Pearlised configurations provide an elegant off-white semi-gloss sheen perfect for luxury gift boxes and cosmetics.
